One of the highlights of any great break in Leeds has to be sampling some of the top quality cuisine the city has to offer. Of course one of the reasons so many of our guests choose Quebecs Luxury Apartments as a hotel alternative in Leeds is the fact that each of our luxury serviced apartments comes complete with its own fully equipped kitchen, but everyone deserves a break from the cooking for at least a night or two while they’re away, right? Especially when there’s so much delicious choice on the many menus!
The city of Leeds is a vibrant, eclectic mixture of bars, theatres, clubs, retail options and so much more. The diversity Leeds is known for certainly expands to the restaurant scene too, so it’s no surprise the city also has its fair share of top bloggers keeping tabs on the best new places to dine. Writers such as Amy Elizabeth (A Lifestyle & Food Blogger based in Leeds), The Leeds Foodie (as you might expect, a Leeds Food blog!) and Digital Diva (who has been living in Leeds for over a decade, and is, in her own words, food obsessed.) are well worth a read ahead of your visit if you’re looking for somewhere special to book a table during your stay.
Chocolate lovers will certainly want to put a trip to Hotel Chocolat Roast & Conch on their list – the menu is full and varied (and doesn’t all include chocolate!), and it’s a popular choice for a leisurely breakfast among the foodie bloggers – we hear their speciality coffees are especially good.
Cafe 164 is another Leeds gem that receives consistently fantastic reviews and it’s equally perfect for a business lunch or grabbing a bite with friends ahead of a theatre trip or a spot of retail therapy. They specialise in ciabatta and focaccia sandwiches along with assorted salads, cakes, wines and beers, all served in stylish surroundings as the café space is connected to The Gallery at Munro House, with various seating areas throughout.
For a taste of traditional Yorkshire fayre, Pieminister is certainly making its mark in the city. A relative newcomer to the Leeds restaurant scene, it is already becoming a firm favourite. For what is, essentially, a pie restaurant, the menu is extensive and diverse with good reports of buttery pastry, generous fillings and top notch gravy. It’s a great option for an evening meal and perfect for larger groups as there’s bound to be a filling to suit everyone’s tastes.
At Quebecs Luxury Apartments, we’re ideally located in the heart of the city, with a huge variety of eateries in easy walking distance – if you feel spoiled for choice, don’t hesitate to ask our reception team for recommendations, they’ll be delighted to help.
So whether you’re booking into your luxury Quebecs Luxury Apartments apartment for business or for pleasure, be sure to take it easy and treat yourself to at least one fantastic meal at your choice of Leeds restaurant – the only difficult part will be deciding where to book!
