Dates for your diary: What’s on in Leeds in April

As ever, the calendar is bustling with things to in Leeds this April, so we’ve pulled together just some of what’s going on to help you plan for the month ahead.

Easter in Leeds

From Good Friday on April 3rd through to Eaaster Monday on April 6th, there is so much happening in & around Leeds City Centre. Whether you’re looking for an Easter Egg Hunt to keep the kids busy, or a night of music and dancing, Leeds has you covered and then some.

Have a look at Stockeld Park for an Easter adventure the whole family will enjoy, snap up a last minute ticket for some laughs with Dave Spikey on April 2nd at City Varieties, or why not just book a table at one of the best restaurants in Leeds for a seasonal family feast. April 9th – Worldwide superstar Nikki Minaj is bringing her ‘Pink Print’ tour to Leeds Arena – tickets are selling fast, so be quick to avoid disappointment! If you’ve already got your tickets but still need event accommodation in Leeds, get in touch as soon as possible to check availability.

April 10th – Comedy genius Lee Nelson is bringing his new show – ‘Suited & Booted’ to the City Varieties Music Hall. He’s already had rave reviews, so this promises to be a great night – get your tickets now!

April 18th – Classical music lovers are in for a real treat when the Czech Philharmonic arrive at Leeds Town Hall. April 19th – One of international opera’s most talked about singers, Noah Stewart performs at Leeds Town Hall. The dashing Harlem tenor’s career has recently seen him stun audiences in Spain, Russia & Atlanta, as well as New York & London. He’s been likened to ‘Pavarotti in his glory days’ and is certainly one to watch.

April 19th – Re-live years gone by as boy band Five return to the stage of the o2 Academy! VIP packages are available, contact the venue for more details.

April 21st – Dylan Moran’s ‘Off the Hook’ show at Leeds Town Hall promises to be so good, it’s almost sold out, but contact the venue directly for last minute availability.

April 23rd – Singer & Songwriter Ben Howard plays Leeds Arena as part of his biggest UK tour to date. The event is sold out, but if you’re lucky enough to have your tickets already, you’re in for a great night.

April 24th – The Searchers at City Varieties – boasting a phenomenal career, now spanning five decades, The Serachers are touring once again with all their much loved hits such as ‘Sweet for My Sweet’ and ‘Needles & Pins’. Tickets are available via the Music Hall Website.

April 28th & 29thThe Buy Yorkshire Conference is at Royal Armouries. The North’s biggest business to business conference is back and better than ever.
